Meeting Rooms

Need a place for a meeting, study group, or have a birthday party? The Perry County Public Library meeting spaces may be what your looking for.

Auditorium

Ever dreamed of hosting a private viewing of the latest superhero movie for your besties? Maybe you need to host a workshop for 168 of your employees. Present in style in our state of the art auditorium. There is theater seating for 168, a large projector screen, and curtained stage with HDMI and VGA ports. Microphones and a podium are also available upon request.

Bookmobile 

If you live in Perry County and are unable to visit the main library branch, we are committed to making our collection accessible to you. Our state of the art bookmobile travels throughout Perry County on a rotating schedule. It is stocked with over 3,100 books, DVDs, audiobooks, and magazines for your enjoyment. 

If you or someone you know would like to be added to our bookmobile route, please contact our Bookmobile Librarian, Terry Delph at 606-436-2475 ext. 212 or [email protected] or by filling out the online Bookmobile request form.

Outreach Services 

If your business or community group would like for the library to bring our programming to you, we have a dedicated Outreach Librarian trained to provide professional library programming. To find out more please contact Outreach Librarian, Candace Calhoun at (606) 436-2475 ext. 211.

Test Proctoring 

Take your proctored test/exams at the library. If you plan to use the library as a test location please contact us as soon as possible. For more details, please contact Adult Services Librarian, Amy Eversole at (606) 436-2475 ext. 208. 

Looking for study materials?  We have a wide variety of resources here in the library or online to help you study for your big day. We carry ACT, GED, SAT, PAX, real estate prep, CDL, drivers permit, postal study guide, and more!

Genealogy 

The Perry County Public Library genealogy room serves as a reference resource of non-circulating materials on local family genealogy and the history of Perry and surrounding counties. The collection includes a wide variety of materials, such as census records, microfilm, marriage & death records, cemetery guides, databases, newspapers, and books.

Notary Public 

Get your documents notarized at the library free of charge. Please contact us in advance to ensure the notary will be available when you arrive. Remember to bring an up to date photo ID with you.

Prints | Copies

Print documents or make copies at our coin operated copier.

$0.10 per page black & white. $0.25 per page color copies

Scanner | Email

Scan or email your photo or document at no charge. 

Fax Machine 

$1.00 per page for long distance numbers. Local or 800 numbers are free to send. 

Have a fax sent to us at no charge. Our fax number is (606) 436-0191.

Wireless Printing 

Send a document to be printed from your personal device.

Seating | Study Areas

The library has several areas to accommodate your needs. If you are looking for a place to work, have a study group, or just relax & read a book. These areas are first come, first served, and some may be reserved by calling (606) 436-2475.

 

Technology

Check your email, browse the web, research, or type up a resume. At the library you can access one of our computers to help you get the job done. 

Charging Stations

Charge your phone & other devices while you’re in the library. Ask the front desk for a portable charger. No charge. 

Webcams 

Need to make a video call? Just ask the front desk about our webcams. 

Online Card Catalog

An online card catalog is located on either side of the library. This is a quick way to find the items you are looking for.

Library Tours

We welcome all groups to tour our facility! If you are interested in touring the library, please give us a call at (606) 436-2475.

Tax Forms

The library offers tax forms & booklets for all your tax needs.
Our forms & booklets are available from January – April, but can be printed all year round. Printing fees may apply. 

3D Printing 

The library’s 3D printer is available to create, design, & print your own creations in 3D!

How much does it cost to 3D print?
The library only charges for the cost of material used for printing. Cost may vary depending on the type & size of the 3D print. The average cost of printing is under $5.00. An exact amount can be given when your print file is submitted.

If you are interested in 3D printing, pick up a printing request form in person or online. Once filled out, please return to the library and you will be contacted by a library staff member to schedule printing and receive pricing information.

Requesting Items | Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Don’t have an item your looking for? No problem! You can request an item by giving us a call or by following the link here!

Interlibrary Loan: If we are unable to get the item you are looking for, we may be able to get it from another library through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
