There
was a quiet place, in the heart of the mountains of Eastern Kentucky,
where the children could come to learn and play…. They found
books, computers, games, magic shows, story telling, music and
much more….
In
this storied place,
adults,
too, could find many treasures. Books were in abundance, including
best-sellers and large print, audio books, over 75 different magazines,
ten local, regional and national newspapers and the latest DVD's. In addition, there is an excellent genealogy
department.
For
patron convenience there are two meeting rooms, a video eye machine
for those with low vision, Internet access, fax machine and copier.
The abundant treasures can even be delivered in a state of the
art bookmobile.
